Bookmarks are stupid. If you forget to bookmark at the end of each session, you lose your progress. And if you die at any point in the game, you lose your progress. You are making one of the best games ever made useless, because of the inability to save. Please fix this waste of money.

Was excited to play... But all the sprites are glitched and half invisible. Makes the game unplayable. I wish iOS offered refunds. Total garbage. iPhone 5S.

When ever I rock out with R-66Y and do a laser spin the game freezes and shuts down. Think somebody should fix this eh. Great game though havent ran into any other problems yet

I have no doubts Ill enjoy reliving this game once the graphic issues are fixed for the 5s, but until then this purchase just feels like a waste of my money. Square Enix should have had this problem fixed by now.

As of today, after latest update to iOS 7.1, the top of the game screen is obscured by an enlarged black iPad toolbar (showing time, battery, etc)...this blocks in-game menu buttons and makes playing very frustrating! Since I paid $10 for this, I would like this bug fixed or else would like my money refunded. Keep the game on par with current updates or take it off the market!!

So I have no Idea how to fix this but since the last update I have not been able to access Chronos fight menu, all he does is attack with his reg sword attack mode... So I cant use any of his magic or tech.... It is rather frustrating...:(

The controls are bad, but bearable. The sprites look totally weird iPhone 5s iOS7. I cant enjoy the game as it is. Please fix!

Finally a graphic fix for the iPhone 5s! With this I can give it 5 stars again

The app constantly crashes and the controls are terrible. I love this game, but not on the iPhone. Pass on this one.

D pad controls are horrible. I still havent made it past the second tree of Death Peak after 20 tries.

Lots of fun, remind me the original game! But really buggy. The games freeze a lot and now im stuck at the rainbow quest: When Marle appear behind the counsil the game completly freeze. I cańt go further... Theses bugs must be fixed to have a 5 stars.

Im not the one that usually comment but overall its a great game, time to time the app crashes thats the only downside

Chrono Trigger is my all time favourite video game, which I have played it on the Emulator, DS, and Playstation, the iPhone version is also very good! At this moment I am 2 hours in the game and have gotten no crashes or signs of lag/slowness (iPhone 4S 8gb). I recommend this game greatly as it is on sale for $4.99, where as a hard copy would be much much more expensive. Great buy!

This is a review of the app, not the game. Ive played Chrono Trigger for years and I simply love this game. This app feels like a lazy port of a great game. It says its compatible with iPad but really you have to download the iPhone version and expanded on your screen and pixelate everything. I want to be able to play on my iPhone and carry on the same progress on my iPad but there is no iCloud syncing of any sort so you pretty much have to choose one or the other or have two different save files on each. The updates arent on a regular basis for this app so if feels like this is just a cheap game to Square Enix compared to one of their best games.

Mostly anything Square Enix is amazing. This is one of my favourite games to play on iOS! Well done and great prices too.

Grabbed this for $4.99 on the most recent holiday sale. Absolutely amazed to have this on my mobile device. It runs great, looks amazing still to this day, and is one of the greatest rpgs of our time. A must have for ANY RPG fanatic.

Who ports an epic game with out the epic music please add N option in the next update

The ds version is much better the directional controls are majorly flawed to the point the game is almost unplayable, what should be enjoyable nostalgia is crap fest
