Its Chrono Trigger.

so you already know. Just needs icloud saves and the ability to change language setting in-game.

WORTH IT

Game is making me feel so nostalgic

Great game! But...

Great squarsoft game, before the company turned to garbage. The only real complaint I have is that you cannot upload your save data to the cloud and then download it to different devices. Other than that definitely worth the money!

Controls are awful!

Cant get death peak, Cant get the 80silver point game, because the controls are such that it is impossible to move in the right direction at a functioning speed. Pretty impossible to finish the game.

FIX IT!!!!!!!

This is my fav game of all time, but after Chrono dies, if you talk to spekkio, he doesnt remember you and gives you magic again. Then all of your techs are RESET!!! And you can NO LONGER GAIN TECH POINTS!!!!!

Great game, bad motion on buttons, and glitchy graphics

Square Enix, I pay for these apps, and with lack of app support via your main site, Im rating you 1 star for this app. People dont want to spend money on apps that dont work. If this game isnt going to update, do us the kindness of removing it from the store. Every company should update these apps as the OS changes. This should be a universal app. Most people enjoy playing on the big screen, and this should be optimized for retina displays. Needs iPad version

Amazing

The game is virtually perfect. Unlike other Square games ported to the IPhone, there is no distracting visual or gameplay change. An almost perfect port of a perfect SNES game for me. The battle system, the characters, and the story work beautifully together, and the touch screen controls arent much distracting, surprisingly. The only parts that arent 100% is when you try to get up Death Peak with touch controls, and there is no option for the cutscenes or screen layout like the DS version. Also, the menus during battle can be a little slow during tougher fights. P.S., the music is amazing. :)

Dont Purchase

Everything was going good until I got deep in the game. Developers refuse to update. Game crashes if you view triple tech. You cant learn some triple techs Grand Dream tech for example. Its just crap because you wont get your money back and apple along with game developers dont care because they get their money.

Jose Lopez

Great

Nostalgic, but frustrating.

I love this game. Grew up playing it back in the 90s and the port is pretty well done considering. There is just one thing that I cannot get over. The controls are so wonky..... I have muddled through the game all the way to the Masamune fight, putting up with the shoddy d-pad imitation but I cant advance further. The characters are sufficiently developed to win the fight, but I cant select spells and items quickly enough to survive the fight. Pretty frustrating. The cursor flies all over the place with the slightest touch.

Timeless

Ive never owned an SNES, so I had never played this game prior to getting this app. I had just heard that the game was great, and I saw that there was an iOS port of it, so I bought it for the generous price of $10. This game delivered much more than I was expecting. It has intriguing characters, an epic quest line, and some of the best (and most unique) mechanics Ive ever seen in an RPG. You might hear some gripes about the controls, especially in Death Peak, and I will agree with those complaints, but those problems did nothing to limit how much I loved playing this game and how great this port is. Just be warned: This version of the game is more difficult than any other version, so you might have to grind a bit, but dont let that turn you off. Even with the added difficulty, this port is the reason why I now consider Chrono Trigger to be one of the best games of all time, and I could not recommend it more to anyone who is a fan of RPGs. I honestly dont regret not playing it on the SNES first because this game is timeless and is absolutely fantastic no matter how or when you play it.

Epic Adventures

Great ported version for the iOS. Thank you SE for allowing me to replay my childhood game at the palm of my hand. However, 4 stars because the touch controller for selecting monster during battle is too tiny for my thumb. I usually end up touching outside the controller signaling action behavior and I end up attacking non selected monsters instead. Would be nice if I can simply touch on the monster to attack. Or at least make the buttons bigger. ---- New updated review: noticed the active battle system isnt ideal with the touch controller. When fighting Nizbel, oh man does he sweep me many many times. Is hard to quickly select actions, and sometimes miss election occurs...its frustrating. Changed to Wait battle mode.
