Excellent port as everyone else has said. Would love controller support, though. iCloud saves would also be nice.

The movement is atrocious trying to do deaths peak. Sort it out.

Doesnt seem the most responsive in movement and the battle system could have been worked on a bit more. Id like to just tap the enemies I want to engage but you have to do it all through this box in the bottom left corner which takes a bit of time. Overall though I love playing this classic on my iPad or iPhone and am thankful for that =D

Im having trouble playing the game :( can you guys kindly fix the controls and make it a little larger? Im stuck in the game because of the colour option!

The fact that you can play on your daily commute is GREAT!! Some of the conversations seemed to have been changed slightly to be more "fluid" with the game. A great purchase for fans of the chrono series!

Therere a lot of reviews for this game that really rake it over the coals because of its controls. They are a bit touchy, but its not as terrible as some of the bad reviews would have you believe. A lot of the reviewers were particularly peeved about the Death Peak area, but its not that bad. Around 20 years after its release, Chrono Trigger is still one of the best RPGs ever made. Its a solid buy for iPhones. Get it.

Hi. There seems to be a bug associated with checking Robos triple techs from the tech menu. Whenever I tap Robos triple tech button, the game crashes. Please look into this issue.

(Edits down below) Amazing game, just a 2 points that could help 1) drains batteries like crazy 1%/minute 2) option for vstick or dpad would be nice for death peak (3) Side side note the DS anime videos but I know this would make the game even larger Aside from that this game holds up magnificently even 20 years later. Though a digital booklet for the Manual might help for those whod never played it prior Although this is all covered very well by the mayors mansion in the first town. New game+ may have issues with techs in that they may reset when you arrive Spekkio once again, without any way of regaining them or relearning them.

The nostalgia alone is worth the small inconveniences of a mobile phone game. Controls can be wonky at times, but again, the game is such a classic, these small things are trivial. Its awesome!

This is one of the all-time great games. Its a real treat to see Chrono Trigger revived for the iPhone generation. Decidedly old-school Japanese-style role playing in the best way.

One of the best RPGs of all time. However the touch controls can be a pain sometimes, most notably when climbing Death Peak.

This is overall a great game love the graphic style gameplay and characters although sometimes in battle trying to switch targets is difficult but you will get used to it

Stuck at level 2 and want my money back

wait battle mode is broken (doesnt pause the fight), changing target to what I actually want is almost impossble and the "joystick" is dodgy. Other than that... yay chrono trigger :). 3 stars for now, if the above gets fixed itll be 5.

Awesome game but there is a comon crash(at least with iphone4)- the game freezes and when any sort of ios hud (sound contron, the menu from the top or the bottom of the screen etc) appears the whole screen goes gray. I wouldnt compliain about this too mutch because you can just load up a save but SPOILER ALERT it happens every time with the rainbow shell quest in the part where the king is about to be taken and the cancellor thriumps, just before the party comes in. I beg you- fix it

It my favorite game with childhood, but add Russia language, my version on ps one, have it language, thanks very much for it!!!
